Fly Tying Expert

We are committed to youth development, education and environmental conservation thru the arts of fly tying and fly fishing. We believe that fly tying and fly fishing offers a life long alternative to drugs, alcohol, gangs and other challenges facing today's youth. We strive to teach young people the important role they play in conservation and environmental stewardship.

We believe that utilizing a shared interest in fly tying and fly fishing promotes a positive self esteem, brotherhood, family values, volunteerism, educational processes and community involvement.

Family Values – organize classes and outings that display to youth positive support from responsible adults.

Achievement, School Engagement, Reading for Enjoyment – built thru the accomplishment of the appropriate fly tying and fishing skills learned.

Respect for Others, Respect for Authority, Discipline – Learned thru a positive, fun and structured classroom that promotes rewards for appropriate participation.

Commitment to Learning - Classes promote, teach and demand research, reading, computer, language, art and math skills in a friendly and fun format. (Subjects include Entomology, Hydraulics, Physics, Math, Latin, Environmental, Earth and Biological sciences all in a fun and recreational format that teaches how these subjects apply to everyday Life)

Positive Values - Clearly defined principles and moral guidelines established for all class and outdoor activities. Respect for environment and stewardship. Fly tying as an alternative to negative activities.

Positive Self-Esteem - The student learns thru accomplishment of well defined tasks, learns to interact with positive supportive role models and is encouraged to reach out beyond the classroom teachings and strive for imagination and creativity in developing new patterns (fly tying).
